THE PARENT PENINSULA
The Parent Peninsula provide support for stressed parents of autistic children, to help them focus on their own wellbeing and reconnect with themselves.
Founders Louisa and Paul wanted to the reflect the calming respite their services provide, whilst including a reference to autism but avoiding any overused clichés relating to neurodivergence.
Their branding features the earthy colours of a sandy peninsula, with a slight gradient designed to reflect the shoreline as the waves retreat from a beach. The logo has a subtle reference to a puzzle piece - a shape commonly associated with autism - which itself includes a small peninsula shape. This has been used to create a ‘P’, and form part of a larger emblem that integrates with a water droplet to make a yin and yang; representing balance, peace, and becoming whole again.
