Film

As a graphic designer for filmmaking, I have worked on Art Departments for several productions designing graphic props, set dressing and key art for the likes of Sky and the BBC, as well as independent films.

Here are some of the things I’ve made for the screen.

Authentic Police Graphics

As a Graphic Designer with real experience as a Police Detective, I specialise in creating authentic police graphic props for film & TV. Police stations, custody blocks, interview rooms, forensic labs, courtrooms; I help film creatives get the best results for their production.

My police career has spanned many departments, including Response, Public Order, Investigations, CID and Public Protection. I underwent training as an emergency response driver, a method of entry officer, a public order Medic, and most recently, a Detective.

Beyond my daily duties, I have also worked in London to assist the Metropolitan Police during the 2012 London Olympics, and was part of a joint security operation in Northern Ireland for the G8 Summit in 2013.

“I've had the pleasure of working with Stephen on two occasions so far, and each time he was able to bring a unique level of realism to the production.
Stephen uses his police experience to create high-quality, accurate props and dressing for sets, making sure everything is as true to life as possible.
It's not everyday you find a graphic designer with real-world insight into how detectives operate, so Stephen is always an invaluable member of my team.”
